From October 30th-November 13th our team of Kelley MBA’s; Sandeep Singh Deora, Nishad Joshi, Aakriti Goyal, and Loretta Renee`Abdul-Ghani competed in the 5th Annual Gilead Case Competition sponsored by Gilead Sciences, Inc.
The Case brief was to develop a revenue diversification strategy for a hypothetical pharma firm.
Our team sought guidance of the Kelley Consulting Academy director Scott Laughner and Kelley Center for the Business of Life Sciences & PLUS Life Sciences Director George Telthorst, Our strategy, we proposed a 3-pronged strategy that revolves around extending the lifecycle of current drugs, accelerating the time to peak revenue and acquiring another firm. Our strategy balanced immediate defensive actions with long-term growth opportunities, ensuring sustainable success for the client.
Out of the 230 applications and 110+ submissions, we were one of five teams to make it to the last round and secured third place after the final presentation! For third place, our team was awarded a $3,000 cash prize.
