First and second year Kelley MBA students had the opportunity to network with industry leaders and learn about healthcare and life sciences companies in the Chicago area. These students used their time off to join Kelley Center for the Business of Life Sciences Director George Telthorst on a Healthcare Trek organized by the Kelley MBA Healthcare Club.
“The healthcare trek in December was a great experience to interact and opportunity to learn more about five key healthcare players over the course of two days. During our trek, we had the opportunity to speak with CEOs, have transparent and insightful conversations with leadership panels, gained a better understanding of the company vision, and got to experience the culture of Strata, ZS Associates, Medline, AbbVie, and Baxter. I was extremely impressed with how detailed these company visits were and truly felt that the people we met were excited to showcase their company to Kelley and build a strong relationship with our school. I would absolutely go on another Healthcare Trek and appreciated how thoughtful and well executed this event was!”
